NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

LSU's disappointing 94-77 loss at Kentucky, was the latest setback in the Tigers fading NCAA Tournament hopes.

ESPN's Joe Lunardi has the Tigers behind 11 other teams missing the tourney in his latest projections. A win against projected four-seed Kentucky would've made those Tiger odds better to go "dancing" in March.

LSU still finished fourth in the SEC with an 11-7 record and received a double-bye in the SEC Tournament. LSU awaits a Friday matchup against either Vanderbilt, Tennessee or Auburn.
