Investigators say it happened February 28 about 4:45 p.m in the 5600 block of Lacour Monique Street.

A surveillance camera captured the moment the man, who had his face covered with some kind of garment, walked up and took the package that had been delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.
Police say the man got away in a green and tan colored Ford Expedition.

Detectives from the NOPD's Fourth District are in charge of the ongoing investigation.

If you have any information about the case, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. You could be eligible for a cash reward.
