Facing a four-game losing streak and looking to finish a three-game home stand with a win, the Pelicans came out flat against the Kings and trailed by as much as 17 in the third quarter, only to mount a comeback and win, 115-112.

Alvin Gentry had just nine players available due to injuries but got 91 points from the quartet of Davis-Cole-Holiday-Anderson. Meanwhile, Sacramento got 40 points and 16 rebounds from DeMarcus Cousins on 16-of-29 shooting.

The Pelicans will practice Tuesday morning before heading to Charlotte, where they will face the Hornets Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
