HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

Deputies are searching for a man they consider armed and dangerous in connection with a shooting outside a barroom in Houma.  Terrebonne Sheriff Jerry Larpenter says his deputies arrived on the scene of the Outrigger Lounge on Hampton street around 12:15 Monday morning after reports of a shooting.  When they arrived on scene, they found two people shot in the street outside of the bar.

During the investigation deputies learned that there was a fight that started inside of the lounge that continued into the parking lot. The victims include a 28 year old woman who was shot in the ankle and a 37 year old man shot in the lower leg. Acadian Ambulance transported both victims to a local hospital where they were treated for their injuries which does not appear to be life threatening.

Investigators have identified the suspect as 36 year old Armond Hanzy of Gray, LA.  Hanzy is wanted for two counts of aggravated second degree battery.

Anyone with information concerning this double shooting is urged to call the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office detective bureau, (985)876-2500, or Bayou Region Crime Stoppers, 1(800)743-7433.  Informants may be eligible for a cash reward and they don't have to give their name.
