KENNER, LA (WVUE) -

Kenner residents and business owners with questions or concerns about the new north terminal at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport now have a hotline they can call.

People are encouraged to ask any questions about the terminal construction and report any problems. A construction management team with Hunt-Gibbs-Boh-Metro will monitor the hotline and attempt to mitigate any impacts as a result of the construction.

The hotline is (504) 444-6001. Questions and comments can be left by voicemail or by texting the number. People can also email them to hotline@hgbm-jv.com.

The new terminal will have more than 750,000 square feet of space, 30 gates, a 2,000 car parking garage, and a ground transportation hub and a hotel. Officials say the project is expected to generate nearly $1 billion in direct investment in the region. Construction of the new terminal is set to be complete in 2018.
