Second suspect named in Houma bar shooting

HOUMA, LA (WVUE) -

Police identified a second suspect in the shooting that occurred outside a Houma bar Monday morning.

According to the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office, 35-year-old Robert Lashun Butler opened fire outside the Outrigger Lounge in Houma on March 7, injuring two people. Butler is wanted for two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Accessory After the Fact to Second Degree Battery.

TPSO deputies were called out the Outrigger Lounge just after Midnight on March 8 after receiving reporters of a shooting. When they arrived, officers found a 28-year-old woman shot in the ankle and a 37-year-old man shot in the lower leg. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital by EMS and are expected to survive.

Investigators first named 36-year-old Armond Hanzy of Gray, La. as a suspect in the shooting. Hanzy is also wanted for two counts of Aggravated Second Degree Battery.

Police consider both men armed and dangerous.
