NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The waiting game is done, and the Tigers’ first SEC Tournament opponent is set. After a roller coaster of a game, 12th seeded Tennessee knocks off Vanderbilt 67-65.

What’s that mean for LSU? The 4th seeded Tigers have to exorcise the demons that haunted them in an 81-65 loss to the Volunteers in Knoxville.

To make matters worse, LSU will be without senior guard Keith Hornsby after the team announced that his season is over following a medical procedure for his sports hernia injury that held him out the last four games of the regular season.

With the Tigers’ 2-4 stretch to close conference play, they’ll likely have to win the SEC Tournament to make the field of 68 in the NCAA Tournament.
