Police need help finding a suspect connected to N.O. East burglaries

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The NOPD needs the public's help in identifying and locating an unknown female person of interest wanted in connection to a simple burglary. According to police, the incident happened in the 1200 block of Mandeville Street on February 28, 2016.
 
Around 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a call from a male victim saying someone had stolen his car from the driveway at his residence. Several personal items including the victim’s driver’s license and credit cards were also taken with the vehicle.
 
Detectives say the suspect may have met with a female accomplice to use the victim’s credit card at a Walmart on Bullard Avenue, and to commit other burglaries on Burgundy Street.
 
The person of interest was described as a black female, wearing a sports cap, with a light blue shirt and blue jacket with white sleeves.
