Most of the North Shore rivers are falling, but many officials are keeping a close eye on the West Pearl near Slidell where the near record crest is expected Monday.
The good news is that the weather forecast is looking much nicer with drier conditions moving in behind this system.
We will see another upper trough move past. This system should just kick up some clouds for the late afternoon and evening with just a few light sprinkles. Monday looks even nicer with a better chance for sunshine. The dry conditions should hold on at least until mid-week.
