Most rivers are below flood stage right now. The exception is the Pearl River and the Bogue Chitto at Bush and the Tangipahoa at Robert.
Wednesday will be a transition day as more clouds move into the area and maybe even a couple of stray showers. It will remain warm with highs around 80 degrees for one more day. A cold front approaches the area but it is very weak with little to no cold air. The end result is that it stalls across the area for the rest of the week.
At the same time, a series of weak disturbances will move across Southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast bringing occasional showers and storms. The highest rain chances will be on Thursday and Friday. Showers may linger into early Saturday but breezy, cooler and drier weather arrives by afternoon and evening.
Sunday will start chilly in the morning with 40's and 50's. The day will be sunny and comfy cool with highs in the 60's.
