Pair sought in Metairie burglaries

METAIRIE, LA (WVUE) -

Investigators are looking for two people accused of breaking into at least three homes in Metairie.  

The burglaries all happened during the day time hours over the past week and a half.  The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office say the first incident occurred on March 7, 2016, in the 400 block of Dorrington Drive. The second and third homes targeted included one in the 1000 block of Aurora Avenue and the other was in the 1400 block of Beverly Garden Drive,

In all three cases, no one was inside at the time of the break-in.  Video surveillance footage from the area captured the suspects, along a truck the pair is believed to have used in the burglaries.  The suspects are described as young white males, wearing hooded sweatshirts and baseball caps.  The vehicle is believed to be a 2012 Ford F150 4X4, dark gray in color with a chrome lower rocker panel.  The truck is also outfitted with a chrome package including chrome nerf bars.  Witnesses reported the suspect's vehicle had no visible license plate or it, due to it being covered up.
