New Orleans police ask for the public’s help to identify and find a man wanted for the armed robbery of a Rite Aid on March 2.

Police said the man went into the pharmacy at 1133 South Carrollton Avenue at 2:35 pm and requested two packs of cigarettes.

Police said when the clerk turned around to hand the man the cigarettes, the man pulled out a semi-automatic pistol and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk complied with the man’s demands and the man fled east bound on Oak Street.

He is also described as having short, dark-colored hair with a salt-and-pepper goatee. The suspect was last seen wearing dark-colored clothing, a light blue baseball cap and silver-framed sunglasses.
