Injury riddled Pelicans take on Clippers tonight

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Pelicans have been battling injuries all season, but never like tonight.

Seven Pelicans, including Anthony Davis, will miss the March 20 match-up against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Anthony Davis (left knee), Ryan Anderson (left groin), Norris Cole (lower back), Bryce Dejean-Jones (right wrist fracture) and Tyreke Evans (right knee) are all officially out tonight according to the team's injury report.

Center Alexis Ajinca will return to the lineup tonight for the first time March 2 after recovering from fractured sternum.

    Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
