NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Tulane baseball continues to win. The 28th-ranked Green Wave beat the Texas Longhorns 5-3 on Sunday to win the series two games to one.

With the game tied at two, Tulane (13-7) scored the go-ahead run on a squeeze play, allowing Jake Rogers to scamper home.

Trevor Simms picked up the win on the mound while teammate Dan Rankin got his first save of the season.

Tulane continues its road trip in Biloxi on Tuesday where they'll face Southern Miss.
