Tulane's postseason run through the Women's NIT continued Monday night as Lisa Stockton's team beat Georgia Tech, 64-61, in Atlanta.

The Green Wave were led by Kolby Morgan's 22 points and Leslie Vorpahl's 16 as the team shot 44.6% from the field compared to the Yellow Jackets' 34.5%. The visitors got off to a sluggish start, being outscored 18-8 in the first quarter but responded with a 28-18 second quarter to tie the game at the half. The Wave allowed Tech to stay alive in the final 20 seconds when they only hit 2-of-4 free throws but Morgan's steal as time expired sealed the game.

Tulane improves to 23-11 and advances to the Sweet 16 to face Florida Gulf Coast University, time and location to be announced.
