NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The NOPD searches for an individual wanted in connection with a shoplifting on March 20 at the Dollar General store at 4515 Old Gentilly Boulevard.

The store manager told police that at approximately 3:53 p.m., she noticed a man wearing a gray sweatshirt with black jeans walk to the soap/laundry aisle and put multiple powder boxes down his pants before walking out of the store's front door without paying for the items.

The manager says the man left the scene in a tan-colored Toyota Corolla with a Louisiana license plate ZFX064. The manager saw a woman driving the vehicle, which was last seen headed southbound on Old Gentilly Boulevard.
