A couple of spotty sprinkles and showers are possible during the morning hours, but rain chances increase after lunch time. Plan for the possibility of rain and thunderstorms this afternoon as a cold front approaches the area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s again today with a good amount of cloud cover.
Cooler, drier air will move in behind the cold front tonight and we'll wake up in the 40s and 50s tomorrow morning. Highs will stay in the 60s for most with plenty of sunshine for Good Friday.
We should have fantastic weather for the Crescent City Classic on Saturday. Dry skies and a cool start will be great for runners and walkers. Unfortunately, rain does look likely for Easter Sunday as the front moves back our way as a warm front ahead of the next trough. Cooler, drier conditions are expected for early next week.
