BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) -

A total of 41 Louisiana parishes will hold early voting beginning tomorrow, March 26 for the upcoming municipal/special primary election on April 9.

"Early voting is a great way to conveniently cast your ballot on your schedule instead of having to fit it in on Election Day," Secretary of State Tom Schedler said. "Saturdays are always busy for individuals and families, especially with Easter and Spring break. I am urging our state's voters to think ahead and consider early voting now."

Early voting runs from Saturday, March 26 through Saturday, April 2, 2016, with the exception of Sunday, March 27.
The hours are 8:30 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Early voting can be done in person at your parish's Registrar of Voters Office or other designated locations. For a complete listing of early voting locations click here.
