HAMMOND, LA (WVUE) -

SLU baseball kept its red-hot start going by sweeping Texas A&M-Corpus Christi this weekend by a combined score of 10-1.

The Lions are now sporting a 12-game winning streak after their third-consecutive Southland Conference series sweep. The win streak started on March 9th when they beat Southern Mississippi on the road, 4-2.

In Saturday's final matchup against the Islanders Domenick Carlini threw an eight-inning shutout propelling the Lions to a 5-0 victory.

SLU returns to action Tuesday night against Southern at home.
