NOPD investigating three armed robberies

New Orleans police are investigating three Sunday armed robberies.

The first incident occurred at 3:48 a.m. Sunday in the 400 block of Henderson.

The victim, a 37-year-old man, was stopped in his delivery truck repairing a flat tire when he was approached by two suspects, described as black men.

One suspect struck him in the head several times and took his cell phone and wallet.

The second incident occurred at 8:17 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Magazine Street.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, was approached from behind by a suspect, described as a black male.

The suspect forced him lie down on the ground and proceeded to steal $250 out of his wallet then fled the scene.

The third incident occurred at 1:53 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of North Johnson Street.

The victim, a 49-year-old man, was attempting to sell an item on Craigslist. Two suspects, described as black males, came to the victim’s house.

The suspects and the victim got into an argument.

When the victim asked the suspects to leave, one of them pulled out a gun, struck the victim several times and tied him up with duct tape.

The victim stated the suspects stole his wallet, keys, cash, cell phone and credit cards.

The victim was able to free himself about two hours later and called police.
