Southeast winds are pushing in warm moist air that will translate into showers and thunderstorms as a slow moving cold front approaches over the next three days. Today has been an overcast day with passing spotty showers and an occasional thunderstorm.
Overnight, showers and storms are possible as lows only fall to about the 70 degree mark on both sides of the lake.
Tomorrow looks warm, muggy, and breezy too. Showers and storms are likely throughout the day with a better chance for some to classify as severe. Frequent lightning, hail, and gusty winds are possible. Heavy downpours and isolated tornadoes can't be ruled out.
Cooler conditions are expected for Friday, but rain will likely linger. Cooler and drier conditions arrive for the weekend and lasts into most of next week.
