New Orleans police investigating four Wednesday armed robberies

New Orleans police are investigating four Wednesday armed robberies.

The first incident occurred at 3:44 a.m. near the intersection of Dauphine Street and Esplanade Avenue.

The victim, a 33-year-old man, was approached by three suspects described as a white man, a black man and a black woman.

The white man was armed and demanded the victim’s wallet. 

The victim was punched in the back of the head and in the face and the perpetrators fled with his wallet.

The second incident occurred at 6:49 p.m. in the 1400 block Montegut Street.

The victims, a woman age 29 and two men ages 29 and 30 were robbed of $4, a credit card and a cell phone.

The suspect demanded their belongings. They complied and the suspect fled.

The third incident occurred at 8:25 p.m. in the 3400 block of St. Claude Avenue.

The victims were six men and one woman. The men ranged in age from 25 to 30. Thee woman is 29.

The suspect, described as a black male, entered location and ordered the victims to the ground. He demanded their property. Victims complied and suspect fled.

The fourth incident occurred at 11:41 p.m. in the 1600 block Paul Morphy Street.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was in his front yard when he was approached by an armed man.  The suspect demanded his belongings.

The victim complied and the subject fled with his cell phone.
