NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The FBI is looking for a man they say robbed the Whitney Bank at 3740 Elysian Fields.
 
Authorities say the man walked into the bank and handed the teller a letter demanding money. The subject left with an undetermined amount of cash.

The FBI describes him as being between 20 – 30 years old, approximately 5' 4" – 5' 8" tall, with a dark complexion, medium build, and short dread locks. The subject was wearing a short sleeve grey and white T-shirt with the words "Born to Fly."

Authorities say when he left the bank he headed west on Milton Street.

The Metropolitan Orleans Bank Security Association (MOBSA) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of this bank robber.
