NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

The New Orleans Police Department needs help finding a teenager who went missing on April 4. Police say 17-year-old Zandja Young was last seen in the 3400 block of Camphor St.

Young’s mother told investigators her daughter went downstairs to her residence’s laundry room and never came back upstairs. Zandja Young is reportedly dyslexic and has a moderate mental disability, but doesn’t take any medication.

Young is 4’11” tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has brown hair and a medium complexion. She was last seen wearing a Blue Arrow hooded sweatshirt and pink tights with planets on them.

Police ask anyone who knows where Young is to call Third District Detectives at 504-658-6030.
