MEMPHIS, TN (WVUE) - -

The Saints continue to do their due diligence when it comes to studying quarterbacks for the upcoming draft. Wednesday, they spent some time in Memphis taking a look at Tiger quarterback Paxton Lynch.

It's the second time they've sat down with Lynch, having spent some time with him at the NFL combine. According to NFL Network, the Saints and Lynch spent lunch together. But, the Saints weren't the only team at his pro day today. Seattle, Pittsburgh and the New York Jets were also on hand.
Lynch, who is expected to be a first round draft pick, said he believes he showed the teams what they needed to see.

"Coming out of spread offense they wanted to see me get under center and move around and be quick and twitchy and I knew I had that so that's what I wanted to showcase here," said Lynch. "I knew I was big and athletic and could throw the ball and I think that's something I showed them as well. Also as well as my presence on the field and how I push these guys and picking them up and I think I did a good job at all of that."

The Saints are also reportedly gonna meet with Michigan St. Connor Cook and Nate Sudfeld from the University of Indiana.
