3 men wanted for robbing couple outside N.O. East nightclub

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans police want to find three men wanted for robbing a couple as the left New Orleans East nightclub.

Investigators say it happened March 26 as the couple was leaving Passions nightclub at 3930 Downman Road.

The male victim told police that he and a female friend left the club about 3 a.m. and headed to his car.

The victim said at that point, an unknown black male approached him and pointed a handgun in his face. As he attempted to run, the victim says he was knocked down by the open door of a second vehicle with two unknown individuals inside, which pulled up behind the victim's vehicle.

Police say one of the people in the second vehicle then approached the victim and searched him, removing money from his pockets as well as a gold chain from his neck and a cell phone, which had fallen to the ground.

The two individuals then returned to their vehicle, described as a black SUV – possibly a Nissan or Toyota – with a temporary license tag, before driving off. 
The first subject is described as brown-complexioned black male with a slim build, standing 5'8" with a low-cut hair, believed to be about 25 years of age. He was last seen wearing a purple LSU shirt and Timberland shoes, with a tattoo in the middle of his forehead between his eyes.
The second man is described as a black male with a beard and wearing a fitted hat. 
The third man is described as a black male wearing a black hat.
The handgun used in the incident is described as a black gun with a gray slide.
