UNO losing streak continues with blowout loss at South Alabama

South Alabama jumped out to an early nine-run advantage against UNO and never looked back beating the Privateers 12-3.

The loss extends UNO's losing streak to three games and drops their overall record to 18-11.

Carter Pekins and Ben Gann each had four RBI for the Jaguars. The Privateers used five pitchers in the game.

UNO will start a three-game series Friday night at home against McNeese State. The Privateers are 15-1 at home this season. UNO is 4-5 in Southland Conference play.

    Today's work was much lighter between the Saints and Chargers was much lighter. They wore no pads only shells and helmets, and they only practiced two hours instead of two and a half like Thursday.
