NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Saints will kick off their preseason on the road against the New England Patriots.

The New Orleans Saints released their preseason opponents today. The four games include the Patriots and the Houston Texans on the road followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens in New Orleans.

The Saints will travel to Foxborough to take on the Patriots to start off the preseason. The Patriots are the reigning 2015 AFC East champions and have a 7-4 series lead in the preseason against the  Saints.

The Saints will then travel to play the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium. The two teams currently have a split record in the preseason (4-4) and regular season (2-2). The Saints lost to the Texans in both their preseason and regular season contests in 2015.

The Saints first home game will come against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers currently have an 8-3 lead in the preseason against the Saints. Both teams featured a top-5 offense (Saints ranked second, Steelers ranked third) last season.

Dates and times for each game have not been decided. All the Saints preseason games will be broadcast on Fox 8.
