Southeastern wins game two at Northwestern State

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - If you aren't on the Southeastern Lions bandwagon by now, I'd suggest hitting the nearest coffee shop and waking up. Not only are they 13-1 in conference following their 8-5 game two win over Northwestern State, but they're winning in just about every way possible.

Friday night they battled with great pitching from Kyle Cedotal and some strong defense. Saturday was all about taking advantage of the Demons' mistakes and some clutch hitting. After a slew of NSU errors gave the Lions a 3-0 lead, Ryan Byers delivered a two-run single to make it a 5-0 Southeastern lead.

Jacob Seward and Brennan Breaud added RBI singles in the sixth inning to make it 8-0. Northwestern State showed some fight and put five runs on the board, but it wasn't enough.

Southeastern improves 25-7 with the win.
