NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans Police officers are looking for a mother and daughter they say knowingly filed a false police report.
Police say on April 3, 2016, Addinesha Estem claimed her live-in boyfriend assaulted her with a gun. Estem's mother, Darnell Estem, gave a recorded statement that she witnessed the incident.
Three days later police say Addinesha Estem changed her story. They say Estem now claims her live-in boyfriend never assaulted her with a firearm, did not threaten to kill her and that she and mother conspired together to file a false report. Police say the women did it because of an earlier argument with the boyfriend.
Both women are wanted for first degree injuring public record. If you know where they are, call Fourth District Detectives at 504-658-6040.
