Southeastern loses midweek bout at South Alabama

(WVUE) - For the first time in over a month, Southeastern is sporting a losing streak after dropping a Tuesday night contest at nationally-ranked South Alabama.

Matt Riser's squad mustered just four hits, including an 0-for-3 performance at the plate from the nation's top hitter, Jameson Fisher. Starting pitcher Pat Cashman allowed just two runs in his 5.2 innings pitched but was credited with the loss.

The Lions will have to regroup quickly as their weekend plans involve a Friday trip to UL-Lafayette before welcoming the Cajuns to Alumni Field Saturday and Sunday.
