NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The second line, originally planned for tonight at 6 p.m. to celebrate the life of slain former New Orleans Saints player Will Smith has been postponed and rescheduled for Friday, according to the organizers Facebook page.

The march was planned for tonight but was postponed because heavy rain hit the area.

The parade will start Friday at 6 p.m.

The parade will gather at the Half Moon Bar at 1125 St. Mary Street. From there, it will move around the block to the memorial that has formed near the site of Smith’s death, the intersection of Sophie B. Wright and Felicity Streets.

Organizers are inviting any New Orleans musicians and Saints fans who want to mourn and celebrate Smith.
