NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

Ole Miss defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche is visiting the Saints, a source confirmed to FOX 8 Sports. FOX 8 first reported the Saints met with the troubled star in Indianapolis at the NFL Combine.

Nkemdiche is a talented but considered a risky prospect. He was suspended for the Sugar Bowl following a marijuana possession arrest. The arrest concluded a bizarre turn of events where Nkemdiche fell out of an Atlanta hotel room. Nkemdiche has first round talent but it's unclear how much his past will impact his draft status.

The Saints have a need at defensive tackle.
