Woman accused of using stolen credit card

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) - New Orleans Police say Tahira "Mary" Burnett, 36, was captured on surveillance video using a credit card stolen in early 2016.

Investigators say a rash of car burglaries was reported in January and February in the NOPD's Second District, which covers sections of the Uptown and Carrollton neighborhoods.

In a surveillance video captured near Freret Street, Burnett reportedly used a credit card stolen from one of those burglaries. Once she was identified, police searched Burnett's residence and recovered property reported stolen in several auto burglaries.

If you can help find Burnett, call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111. Remember: you do not have to give your name, and you could be eligible for a reward.
