(WVUE) - A coastal flood warning is in effect through tonight until 7 p.m. due to a persistent east-southeasterly breeze. Tides are running one to two feet above normal.
Even though winds are expected to calm later today and tomorrow, it will take some time for waters to go down, so an advisory may be issued for tomorrow.
Finally we'll see a mix of sun and clouds today with highs reaching the mid 70s.
Tonight will be cooler and calmer with lows in the 50s on the north shore and 60s on the south shore. Plan for a few more clouds tomorrow and an even cloudier day Wednesday.
Rain chances look highest for Thursday, but showers will be possible Friday as well. The weekend looks much better and warmer with highs in the 80s expected.
