Armed robbers caught on video in Marigny area

NEW ORLEANS, LA (WVUE) -

New Orleans police are looking for the public's help identifying and tracking down three armed robbers seen on surveillance video. 

Victims in four separate incidents on Pauger, Royal and Touro streets reported three armed robbers approached them in separate incidents. They were wearing dark clothing, hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces.

The first incident happened just after midnight Monday in the 1600 block of Pauger Street. The 34-year-old victim said he was forced at gunpoint to give up $500 cash. The three then took off running river bound. 

The second incident happened almost half an hour later in the 2000 of Royal Street. Three victims reported a similar case of three people approaching them.

The third incident happened in the 1400 block of Pauger Street. The robbers held up a couple, who complied with demands for cash and a cell phone.

A fourth incident happened Friday in the 800 block of Touro Street. Four victims complied with the robbers' demands.
