NOPD: St. Roch shooting victim lied to officers during questioning

New Orleans police want to find a man they say lied to them about his connection to a shooting in which he was injured in the St. Roch neighborhood. 

The shooting happened April 6 in the 2400 block of Elysian Fields Avenue. 

Police say around midnight, someone shot Larry Douglas, 20. They later learned that Douglas didn't tell them the truth about his involvement in the shooting when they questioned him. 

When apprehended, Douglas will be charged with illegal carrying of a concealed weapon and obstruction of justice. Douglas' last known residence was at 2801 Huey P. Long Avenue in Gretna.
