UNO sweeps Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (WVUE) -

UNO beat Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a doubleheader Saturday 4-2, and 9-6, taking a three-game series in the process.

Privateer Head Coach Blake Dean went to Twitter and voice his excitement on the big weekend.

"Words can't describe how proud I am of this team! We just got our first sweep since being in the Southland conference!"

The Privateers will next face Southern in Baton Rouge on April 26. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m.
