THIBODAUX, LA (WVUE) - Terrebonne Parish deputies are investigating a shooting that left one man injured.
The incident occurred Saturday around 11:45 p.m. in the 100 block of Calumet Street, Thibodaux.
Deputies said the 23-year-old victim was shot in the stomach and walked to an ambulance substation. He was then flown to a hospital in New Orleans.
Authorities say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Police say that investigators received information the victim exchanged gunfire with the suspect(s), who were also shot.
Deputies believed the shooting is drug related.
