New Orleans police want to find a man wanted in connection with a homicide near Broadmoor.

They're looking for Dominick Norwood Scott, 22, in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Keenen Lewis. It happened April 25 in the 3900 block of Louisiana Avenue Parkway.

At about 12:27 a.m., Sixth District officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1200 block of South Dorgenois Street.

Officers say Scott shot at the victim's Chevy Malibu and hit both the male driver and a female passenger. The two took off but eventually crashed their car near the intersection of South Dorgenois Street and Clio Place.

The male victim, later identified as Lewis, was transported by EMS to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The female passenger was also transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment of possible injuries.

As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to positively identify Scott as the perpetrator who shot at the vehicle on Louisiana Parkway Avenue.

Scott's last known address is 2825 Chippewa St., New Orleans.

If you know where to find Scott, call police or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111.
