Spring Session: Bill altering LA hunting wardrobe passed

BATON ROUGE, LA (WVUE) - A bill some people consider sexist waits for Governor John Bel Edwards' signature.

The state senate gave final passage Monday to legislation allowing hunters to wear "blaze pink" as an alternative to "hunter orange" during open gun hunting season.

According to our partners at Nola.com|The Times-Picayune, supporters say allowing "blaze pink" is good for high visibility. Some women hunters in Wisconsin complained the  addition of blaze pink in that state was a sexist move.
