NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

A rivalry that started way back in 1893 is renewed tonight, and a packed-house will witness it. The Green Wave won the first matchup earlier this season 7-1. A two-game series sweep against the Tigers would give the fans bragging rights, and help the Wave's NCAA Regional bid.

"It's just going to be such a crazy night. We have a sellout, we have a great team coming in. They happen to be a great rival," said Tulane Head Baseball Coach David Pierce. "It's nice to know we're talking like that again, and the game has meaning for both teams. It's important for us because of the RPI, but wins, it's important to get every win you can down the stretch. I just think it's going to be an exciting night, and I hope we play well."
