FBI ramps up investigation of 15-year-old cold case

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is bringing new resources to a 15-year-old cold case involving a child who went missing from Clinton, La. in 2001.

The Child Abduction Rapid Deployment (CARD) Team will assist in the investigation of the disappearance of Wesley Dale Morgan disappeared in 2001, and has not been seen since.

The special unit will bring new technology and additional resources to the investigation of Morgan’s disappearance.

Morgan would be 17-years-old.

The FBI’s CARD Teams is comprised of highly-trained and experienced subject-matter experts, comprised of FBI agents, intelligence analysts, and behavioral analysis profilers.

CARD also utilizes resources from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and a variety of search teams.

The unit provides an investigative, technical, analytical, and resource assistance during abduction and disappearances cases of children.
