NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect believed to be responsible for several armed robberies in the Fifth District.
Police say that on March 30, the suspect robbed two businesses – the Art Studio located in the 1400 block of Montegut Street and the Indywood Film Studio in the 3400 block of St. Claude Avenue.
The next day, the same suspect robbed the Architectural Construction Warehouse in the 1200 block of Montegut Street.
In all three cases the suspect produced a silver and black semi-automatic handgun and pointed at the victims.
The suspect is described as a 17-23-year-old black male with a dark complexion. He stands 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with an average build.
He wore a dark pants and a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood over his head and his face was concealed by a white cloth.
The suspect is also believed to have robbed another business in the 1400 block of Montegut Street on April 24.
