NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New Orleans police make an arrest in the murder of a man near the Broadmoor neighborhood.

Detectives arrested Dominick Norwood Scott, 22, in connection with the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Keenen Lewis. They say they found him at his home Tuesday in the 1600 block of North Roman Street.

The shooting happened April 25 in the 3900 block of Louisiana Avenue Parkway. At about 12:27 a.m., Sixth District Officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1200 block of South Dorgenois Street.

They eventually crashed their car near the intersection of South Dorgenois Street and Clio Place.

The male victim, later identified as Lewis, was transported by EMS to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The female passenger was also transported by EMS to an area hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
As the investigation progressed, detectives were able to positively identify Scott as the person who shot at the vehicle on Louisiana Parkway Avenue.
