Saturday will be breezy and warm with a fair amount of sunshine to start the day, but severe storms could be on the way.
There is a chance for strong to severe storms during the afternoon and evening. Rain chance is 60%.
The storm system will stall over the area on Sunday and thunderstorms look likely. Severe storms won't be a threat as much as heavy rain and flooding will be. It remains unsettled on Monday and Tuesday with off and on chances for showers and storms.
A somewhat unusually strong cold front for May will arrive on Wednesday bringing drier, cooler and less humid weather the rest of the week.
