We saw a break in the storms overnight and for the early part of this Sunday. Unfortunately, more rain is expected again starting around mid morning for the North Shore and early this afternoon for the South Shore.
Widespread additional rain amounts will range from 1-3 inches with locally higher amounts possible. With already saturated ground, flash flooding will be the biggest concern. Isolated severe storms are also possible.
Heading into the beginning of the week conditions don't improve much with unsettled weather likely Monday and Tuesday. The bright spot is a cold front arriving on Wednesday and bringing in cooler and less humid conditions for the rest of the week.
