NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Those traveling downtown this morning may want to leave the house a little earlier than usual.

Two busy intersections will close so crews can install rails on the new North Rampart, St. Claude Avenue streetcar line.

The closures will occur at the intersection of Toulouse and North Rampart and at the intersection of North Rampart and St. Louis Streets.

The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority says track installation on the new streetcar line is more than 90 percent complete.

The project is expected to be completed by mid to late summer.
