(WVUE) - New Orleans police are investigating two Sunday night armed robberies.
The first armed robbery happened on the edge of the French Quarter, according to initial reports.
A suspect, described as a black man, held up two women and a man at gunpoint at the corner of St. Philip Street and North Rampart Street at 8:23 p.m. Sunday night.
The suspect fled with the victims' belongings.
In the next incident, a drug store was robbed in the Warehouse District.
Police say a suspect, described as a black male, robbed the CVS Pharmacy in the 900 block of Girod Street at 11:13 p.m.
The suspect pulled out a gun, took an employee to the register and demanded money.
The cashier complied and the suspect ran off with the cash.
