Victims give up 35 cents in Oak Street armed robbery

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -

Two men were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday morning on Oak Street, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

The robbery happened just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of Short and Oaks Streets. A preliminary police incident report says the victims were approached by a black male armed with a black semi-automatic gun demanding their property. 

The victims complied and the perpetrator fled on Oak Street towards Broadway with 35 cents.
